Malcolm Upton ACTIONCoach Business Coaching
I am an ActionCOACH Business Coach helping business owner-operators in western Fort Worth, TX to grow their business. I have advanced degrees (master’s and doctorate) in business, decades of experience, and several certifications. My primary focus is on making practical business skills available to regular people who own their own business. I want to translate business jargon from the corporate and academic fog into every-day language that Bubba can understand.
Welcome to Bubba does business. A couple of words of introduction are in order. First, let me explain that this is not a business book written for corporate suits. It also isn’t a business book written in academic voice for professors and students in business school. This is a book that was written for Bubba and all the other business people who are out standing in their field where you get mud on your boots and dirt in your eye. This is a book of practical tips and techniques for the business owner operators who are the heart of any economy. In short, this is a book for you.
The attached manuscript should give the designer a better understanding of who the target audience is.
The cover needs to appeal to regular people who own their own business and communicate that this is a book in regular, Texican, language, not Academic Voice, or Corporate jargon.
I need front, back, and spine for a 100-150 page book. Space should be available on the back for an ISBN and a blurb. I do not want it to look like a corporate business book or textbook.
There needs to be space on the front cover near the bottom for "Forward by Brad Sugars" and his picture. Of course the title and author needs to be on the cover and spine.
The cover has to capture the nonstandard spirit of this business book and the designer is encouraged to read some of the manuscript to understand the spirit of this book.
