Park Road Physiotherapy
Upscale private rehabilitation clinic in operations for 15 years located in a beautiful new french style stucco 2 story buildng in quiet commercial area bordering on residential. We focus on very high quality individualized treatment offering specialty services. With regards to this brochure we are promoting combined decongestive therapy treatments for lymphedema, a chronic swelling condition caused by damage to or insufficiency of the lymphatic(immune) system. Often it's due to treatments for cancer (eg. surgery which removes lymph nodes, radiation treatments). Some people are born with the condition and some develop it due to trauma. We are physiotherapists and massage therapists with advanced training to treat this condition which is often not detected and can lead to serious complications if not managed well. The target of the brochure is the medical community (physicians, nurses, rehab consultants) as well as the patients themselves.
Although more people have the condition than is identified, the market is essentially a new market. We already treat patients with this, but want to expand our services by adding another therapist. Few people or even doctors know there is treatment even available for the condition. The clients are generally aged 40-65 but we are also looking to service the paediatric patients (children may be born with this).
We would like to let caregivers, physicians, nurses, case managers
community organizations and support groups know about our unique service and highly professional dedicated well educated staff.
