Light Ceremonial Organic Matcha
Description of the product
Product Description: Our Light Ceremonial Matcha is grown on a family tea estate that is rich in heritage and recently passed between the family from the father to his son. The farm first gained organic certification in the year 2000. Our first flush tea blends of Okumidori, Asanoka, and Saemidori, are grown in the pristine slopes of the Kirishima mountain range in Makizono, Kagoshima, an area renowned for its rich volcanic soil. The tea bushes are shade-covered for 20 days before harvesting. The velvety jade liquor of Light Ceremonial Matcha imparts deep and mellow balance between sweet and vegetal flavours. It is perfect for the preparation of refreshing usucha and ideal for sharing with friends.

Any graphics used need to be related to the traditional aspect of the product, i.e. tea fields with a mountain in the background and workers harvesting the leaves or incorporating a chawan (tea bowl) and chasen (tea whisk) into the design.
What to avoid
Matcha is an 800-year-old product that has only recently been introduced to the western world. Many new Matcha businesses modernise the product too much, and it ends up losing its authenticity and heritage—I feel. On the contrary, I don't want people to feel as they are buying from a Japanese eCommerce business.
