Description of the product
This is a range of paint rollers, for DIYers and Professional painters to use when painting their homes, businesses, etc.
Description of the product target audience
Typically women DIY home painters (30-55 years) middle income and Porfessional Painters (25-50 years)
I want the packaging designed for these new rollers. A cardboard package that will hold four of the 4" long rollers, in two rows of two rollers. I will attached an powerpoint with some of the colours we like, and the details of the content to go onto all four sides of the packaging.
What to avoid
I will send a drawing of the dimensions so that it is clear. But in summary it is a box to hold 4 upright 4" rollers, and then a piece of upright card at the back that will be used to hold the packet onto the wall display shelving. The main part of the box that holds the 4 rollers is 62mm width on all 4 sides. The box is 108mm high (the roller holding part is) then there is an additional 40-50mm of height for the upstanding piece at the back of the roller box with room for small opening to hang the box on retail shelves. We aren't fixed on what the height of this upper piece should be, we can be flexible based on your design needs. Our competitors have an upper area of 77mm in total but this is a lot of space, we think we might go with a slightly shorter upper section, but it is down to the designers discretion depepending on what space their design needs. There is also an area where the box is open, so that you can see in and touch the rollers, this is an area running from the front through to the right hand side panel. It starts from 10mm up the front and side face and is 30mm high and 31mm deep on front and side. It is in the drawing.
