Description of the product
4 glass fermentation weight, it goes into the next of a wide mouth jar (76mm inside) and placed on top of food, usually veggies but anything and it keeps food under the brine (salted water) and keeps bits of food from floating to the top as this can spoil with bacteria, yeast and mould. Common food is sauerkraut but can be used for other food.
Description of the product target audience
People who ferment in small batches, they make sauerkraut and other healthy foods, going to a lot of effort to keep themselves and possibly their family healthy, it is getting more popular as it is an ancient traditional way of preserving. A lot of young people are starting to ferment as well as older people and using Grannies' recipe! it is said to help with gut health and other healthy benefits which can't be claimed because of the law, but we know that it can help.
