By trade I am a Geographic Information Systems Analyst, so I basically make maps and do data analysis all day. To make a beautiful map, it requires a lot of artistic talent and a play on colors and layout. I take pride in my work, whether it is a map, a logo, an upscale dinner I cooked from scratch, or a handcrafted cocktail. I am not the best artist by a long shot but when I got a good design worked out I can produce it pretty well in Illustrator.
