Milton Lawson is a comic book writer. We are designing a banner to display at comic conventions.
What's your vision?
I have simplified the brief to accentuate the core ideas: Design a trade show banner for comic book writer Milton Lawson. The SPECS for the banner are: Document Trim Size 33.13" x 86.18" 84.1 x 218.9 cm 1656 x 4309 pixels Full Bleed Size 33.38" x 86.43" 84.8 x 219.5 cm 1669 x 4322 pixels The key text elements on the banner should be "Milton Lawson" and "writer." At comic book conventions, creators usually place their banners behind their tables, so place key information at the top/middle. On the banner, two or three of my comic projects should be referenced visually. First, is "Thompson Heller: Detective Interstellar" - logo and sample artwork included. Second, is "Roger Ebert and Me." Cover image and sample artwork files attached. Important to include adjacent to this work is the "Ghost City Comics Competition" Laurel (file: GCCC_Finalist.png) - indicating the comic's award-winning status. Third is "Winter Sale" - this one isn't mandatory. It might be a tough fit because it's black and white and the other content is full-color.
The relative level of importance here is : Name/writer. Heller project, Ebert project, and optionally Winter Sale project. I've uploaded a ton of imagery here but that doesn't mean the best design will be an information overload. This is just to use as a reference and get the concept of what the banner is trying to communicate. Trade show banners should be able to work at a distance.
