I am an independent educational consultant and I help high school students and families plan for college and prepare college applications. The target audience is parents of high school students who have some additional resources but who want guidance and support for the college process.

My strengths are in building good relationships with students and families, serving as a trusted advocate and advisor, and helping students find their own unique path. I use tools for interest and strength assessment and I spend a good deal of time asking questions and listening to the student and family. At each stage, I seek to understand the student and to challenge them to take the next step. When the student begins to work on college applications, I know them very well and can help them consider how to best convey their unique qualities in the components of those applications.
