terasurfer got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Create the Twitter Aurora team t-shirt!
Check out terasurfer's T-shirt contest…
This is for a software project called Apache Aurora (https://aurora.apache.org/). I would like for the shirt to make tasteful use of colors from the natural phenomenon, but not over the top. I'm open to ideas for the base color of the shirt itself (likely a darker color, but not black). There are tons of awesome public domain photos online of auroras, feel free to make sensible use of those (though, not required)
- The text "Apache Aurora", could be on the front, back, or a sleeve. See the website for a font idea, but i am not married to that font choice. - The logo graphic (may be separate from text) from the website
What to avoid
- A very large graphic of the project logo (the A with triangles)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their t-shirt.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
terasurfer collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
