To give a little background information, this tshirt is handed out to the first 125 registered racers of the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge. Mountain Dew does not own this program but is the title sponsor so we must show them respect by incorporating the MD logo with the VC logo (you'll see this attached). The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge is the longest-running snowboarding and skiing promotional tour in North America. After 22 years of successful events, it is PepsiCo’s most enduring consumer promotion, and it has grown to include more than 30 resort events in the northeast. Marked by excitement, high energy, and fun, the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge offers a broad appeal that attracts more than 16,500 racers. A day of racing, music, fun and giveaways, this event is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. The race is free, product samples, contests and raffles are prevalent throughout the day. The design of this tshirt must be cool and cutting edge. Our goal is to have these as collector's pieces...where competitors will travel from event to event to get the tshirt.
2 location printing. Typically we print a 2 color logo (attached) on the left front chest and create a 3-color piece that covers the full back. This year we are able to print a 4-color piece across the back, but I'd like to see options for 2-color as well as 4-color. We have to use the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge logo. We'd also like to customize the tshirt for each event (mountain). I was thinking that we could somehow include the mountain name and their event date in the back artwork. We also need to incorporate sponsor logos. We will put these in a logo train on the back of the t-shirt. We can incorporate those once the final design has been chosen.
What to avoid
I have included samples of what we have done for the t-shirt artwork over the past few years. We want to come up with something new and fresh. Use these as a reference but by now means feel that you have to start your design with these in mind.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $269.
