MichaelFinger got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Nissan Skyline - Japanese Anime style
Check out MichaelFinger's T-shirt contest…
I want a caricature or my car in Japanese animation style. Overall, I'm looking for an exaggerated and muscular image. Typically cars that are characterised have over proportioned sized wheels with aggressive offset and negative camber - that's something I'd like too. Its a 1987 Nissan Skyline GTS-X, and it has a cult kind of following. It's well know as the R31 due to its model designation. People who like Japanese car design and technology of the 1980s generally know what the car is and its fairly rare due to it only being sold in Japan and a lesser performing version in Australia. My car has a strong instagram following @r31life The front of any car is its face, and the rear of Skylines are legendary because of the red round tail lights. If possible, a font and a rear image could be incorporated in the design. Maybe two cars parked side by side, but this isn't mandatory, just an idea.

And then… they selected a winner!
On point with the brief, he understood my requirements. Evidently, he did his research. He used additional reference images on the internet and understood car design and what makes a car look tough.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
