Coded WordPress 2.x Theme $1,000

This contest is for a re-design of Phoenixrealm.com and the coding of a WordPress theme. All entrants need to supply details of at least to current blogs that they have coded.

This contest is for the design AND CODING of a WordPress theme for Phoenixrealm SEO BLOG

The Design

The Design should incorporate all the functionality of the current bog, with the exception of the search box in the banner, instead the banner should have the space for a 468 x 60 banner ad.

The winning design will be clean with corporate professional feel. It also needs to have a visual association with the following site http://doublespark-seo.co.uk/?color=blue maybe with the same blue and gray colour scheme and amending the logo to suit. I would also like the blog to incorporate a portrait photo.

I like the way problogger.net has three boxes at the top for links to extra pages, I would like something similar for the following:

1) SEO articles
2) Web design articles
3) Popular posts

The Coding

The theme will be coded using XHTML and CSS without a table in sight, and will of course validate. The three column layout should remain the left and right columns being of a fixed width and the centre column being a fluid width. Both sidebars will need to be widgetized.

Qualifications

To be considered for entry each contender will need to provide examples of two current blogs that they have coded.

Payment

Payment will be via PayPal, $500 on receipt of winners PSD of the design, and $500 on receipt of completed and verified working theme.

Deadline

The deadline for submission is Wednesday the 21st March 17.00 GMT. The winner will be announced within 48 hours.

The winner will need to provide the completed theme within 7 days of the final PSD being agreed.
