How brian H5 started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I run one of the most popular SEO blogs online. In addition to the blog, our business sells premium marketing training products.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
In general, I want the look and feel to match the current site.
I like that the site currently has a lot of white space and that green is the primary color used.
I also like that the site feels like a personal brand (which it is). I want to make the personal brand element even more prominent in the new design.
Homepage: I want an above the fold section that' similar to socialtriggers and the fourhourworkweek. Can use the same copy I have in the box at Backlinko.com now. Please select an image from the images attached.
For below the fold I want a "what others are saying" section. One will be a quote from Neil Patel: " When it comes to link building, Brian Dean is the best in the business." Another from Noah Kagan: "Brian is the only guy I trust for SEO. He's literally the best in the world.
About page: I want the copy to be the same as it is now. However, I'd like it to be more "a day in the life of Brian" style that includes several different images of me. I've attached a "mood board" for reference.
What to avoid
Even though the examples I showed you use a lot of black, I don't want a lot of black in the design. My current design has almost no black, and your should avoid black as well.
Remember that this brief is for two pages (homepage and about page. Make sure to submit designs for both.
The portrait images attached are not yet edited. The editing will be done by my photographer after the design is almost ready. That way his editing matches your design. Then he will send the finished photos back to incorporate into the final design.
