Neve's Uniforms & Equipment
--We've updated this contest - we'll accept layered PSD files from Photoshop OR layered PNGs created in Fireworks. Either one will work.
Neve's Uniforms & Equipment sells uniforms and equipment to Police Departments, Fire Departments, Security Companies, Medical Business and Commercial Business across the United States.
We're a Website development company. Neve's Uniforms and Equipment is our client. You'll be working with us - the web development company. We have high standards, but if we like your work, we'll invite you to participate in all our future contests and you'll have a leg up on the other competition.
We look forward to seeing your creativity and hard work!
Thank you for participating.
Our target audience is firemen, policemen, emergency medical technicians and their managers. Some are pretty experienced on the Web, others don't use technology very much and want the site to be as easy to understand as possible. They're mostly men, but many women also work in the field.
We have created a wireframe and would like you to use your creativity to design three pages based on the wireframe we provide. You can start with the wireframe as one layer and create your design on top of it.
The wireframe shows you where to put everything, but we want you to be as creative as you can within these constraints. Add shading, colors and style to the wireframe. Create a unique footer, header, buttons and navigation.
As for color, use the logo as a guide- black and gold and white is wonderful. We are flexible, though, and if you can make something beautiful that is different colors, that's great.
We want your design to fill the entire screen - so as a user expands their browser, there's something to see. Keep your design lined up with the wireframe, but make your design fill up the screen. There are a variety of ways to do this, especially with a creative background that fills the screen. Please be creative. The best way may to be sure the background fills the screen.
PLEASE - Ask questions if you have questions! We're happy to work with you and want to help you as much as we can.

Find more page details in the attached PDF file.
We want you to create:
Home Page
Badges and Wallets - this is a product category page, similar to this page on the current site: http://www.nevesuniforms.com/catego…%20Wallets
Order for a Member - Some fire and police departments can log in and order for their employees. This is a screen where they can do that. Any design help here would be really appreciated it to make things easy to read and use.
NOTE: In these wireframes there are some numbers in bubbles - IGNORE those - they should not be in the design. They are comments that are created in our wireframe tool.
We're uploading files to help you, including:
The Neve's logo
Wireframes in a PDF - there are a few notes here too
It was difficult to get the entire wireframe into one document, so they aren't sized as they should be.
If you need something we haven't provided - ask! We are happy to help. We want to help you do your best. Thank you for your participation.
Neve's current website is online at http://nevesuniforms.com/
It's old, too narrow and has become cluttered.
You can grab many images from here to use in your mockup design. There are lots of products and other images. If you want other images, ask and we'll get them for you, or use generic placeholder images - that's fine.
THANK YOU!
