The overall goal of this contest is to create a professional, classy, and creative home page for a media fund (charity) whose goal is to strengthen awareness in third-world nations through media and broadcast. The target audience is wealthy individuals who would like to support this cause. The website will provide information on the media fund.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: creme, browns, look at logo (match logo) Desired Style: clean, professional, modern, classy look, with a creative/media-related theme.. Accepted File Formats: PSD, JPG This site is all about creating awareness through the media of third-world nations and how this charity is going to help them. The site needs to have a high end feel as the people who will be seeing the site are the ultra-wealthy and elite as well as media personalities. The overarching goal of the Media Fund is to strengthen human security and international stability by harnessing the power of popular media to inverse the patterns of hostility and mistrust among societies. SITE DESIGN Site should be 980 pixels in width and should display good on a 1024 x 768 resolution monitor Colors for use are light cream, and the colors used in the logo Pictures of smiling, ethnic people of the world should be used for imagery Client would like for the site to tie in with a media kind of feel and also suggest using film and photos together as an artistic element that could also be made into flash. The Funds mission is to encourage media leaders to become aware of their unique societal responsibility in the world today, and to issue a positive call to action. Recognizing that news and entertainment media can fuel both positive and hostile perceptions, there is an urgent need for balanced images of all cultures in the mass media. By bringing the UN and private media together, the Fund strives to highlight the relationship between media images and violence in society, and to help realize positive change in media content through its initiatives.
