We are a Chinese Digital & Social Media Marketing Company. We specialise in attracting Chinese customers for our clients. We do this through the use of Chinese Social Media such as Sina Weibo, Search Engine Marketing on Baidu, and we translate, register & host websites in China
After seeing these entries so far I have decided that a new direction may be necessary. I am wondering if the website can take a Problem ---> Solution layout. Basically we can tell a story from top to bottom. Building an brand in China is difficult but Sino Social is here to help! Here's How: Did you Know? China has 564 million internet users. Chinese consumers are very much relationship based. They need to be communicated and engaged with before a level of trust is built. '211 of the top 500 global brands have Sina Weibo enterprise accounts, each with an average of 218,000 followers.' 'On average Chinese Social Media users follow at least 8 brands.' Problems: Language While English is becoming more and more widespread in China everyday, if you really want to connect with Chinese consumers your website needs to be translated into Mandarin. Mandarin is a beautiful and ancient language. It’s not just a means for communication, it is an important part of the cultural understanding. Not having a proper translation into Mandarin is a lost opportunity to build your brand image in China. On-going communication is also a problem because consumers will want communicate in their home language of Mandarin. You also want to make it easy as possible for your customers to get information and ultimately make a purchase. The Great FireWall of China Twitter, Facebook & Youtube have all fallen victim to the great Firewall of China and are not accessible from within China. While young innovative Chinese Netizens can find ways to get to these sites, why would they want to? Chinese social media is more relevant to Chinese consumers. Twitter is replaced by Sina Weibo, Facebook by Renren, YouTube by Youku, etc. Licensing & Regulation Baidu is the King of Chinese Search Engines as it used used almost exclusively by over 90% of web users in Mainland China. If your website is to be found on Baidu it will need to be hosted in China with a .CN Domain. To be hosted in China you need to be receive a license from the government.
