jean.rausis got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Funny project for BRAIN GEEKS.

IMPORTANT : SEE THIS https://i.imgur.com/itTrUJU.png It's a website about "hacking your brain". Both desktop and mobile are requested of course. My customers (french) want to learn things about how their mind work. The brand is called "MentalHacker", and the idea is that you have 3 modules (Basic, Advanced and Expert) all split in 5 categories. The website homepage is like this: On the left, you have your "character", it's a noob hacker, so you basically draw a normal dude, and below the dude, an XP bar. On the rest of the screen, there is a GRID of content. This grid consists of 3 rows of 5 colomuns, so a grid of 3x5. Each row has 5 "products". So basically, you have a grid of 15 product, split in 3 rows of 5 products. Easy right? First row of 5 products is BASIC. Second row is ADVANCED. Third row is EXPERT. The idea being that the customer can buy BASIC products. When he unlocked 4/5 of the BASIC products, the Advanced will unlocked, when he bought 4/5 of the Advanced, the Expert will unlock. It's like a game, and your char on the left evolves, you go from Basic MentalHacker to Advanced, to Expert. Each column of 3 is a given category, so for example imagine the GRID has coordinates like this A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 It must be clear that A1, B1 & C1 are all about the same knowledge, could be for example, "MINDSET", so A1 is Basic Mindset, B1 is Advanced Mindset, C1 is Expert Mindset. Then for example A2 could be basic "How to read non verbals", B2 advanced, C2 Expert, etc. So it must be clear for the customer that: A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 = BASIC B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 = ADVANCED C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 = EXPERT But A1 B1 C1 are together, same for 2, 3, 4, and 5. And customer must understand that, so there could be a small title above each column or something. Be creative! :)
Here is the logo : https://mentalhackers.org/img/mentalhackers.6d29f566.png STRUCTURE : https://i.imgur.com/itTrUJU.png That's all you'll get. You can make a very serious looking website, or a funny one. Let's say the perfect thing would be 75% serious, 25% funny.
The homepage with the content GRID as described. It must be clear for the customer that there is 3 levels, so for example each row could be of a sligthly different colors, and with a small indication on each row that one is Basic, Advanced and Expert. On the products, you must have a "Unlock" button. When a product is not bought, it's "greyed" and appears locked. When a product is bought, it's displayed unlocked. So you must provide a page with locked products and unlocked products in the grid. Also, near each row should appear a button to unlock the whole row. Also, you must provide 4 versions of the "hacker" being more and more advanced. Let's say first is a normal dude, then a guy looking good with a hoodie but not the cap on, then the third one has his hacker hoodie on (or feel free to adapt anything you want); I also need a fourth "hacker character" for when a customer unlocked all modules which looks godlike with superpowers aura or something. :D
What to avoid
