Our business is a money management business. We invest people's cash into the world's stock markets following a variety of different strategies. You can think of us as a provider of various 'mutual funds' that allow investors to take their cash and purchase a unit in one of our investment funds. We then take the cash and invest it according to a strategy which will hopefully earn a nice return for investors. Our clients are typically people wanting to invest their retirement money, wealthy individuals and families.

Very professional and different from simply a standard photo of a person and their name next to it. In addition, the main homepage appears very clean and classy. It conveys professionalism. We provide some investment options for people and each investment option has a page describing the investment, providing documents related to the investment option, providing a contact link if a customer would like to invest in that, providing previous performance reports for that investment etc.

Our website is intended to be a 'brochure' site that introduces who we are and communicates that we are a trustworthy and competent group of professionals who can be trusted to manage your money. Our website does not really have a 'call to action' in that we want you to buy something but we want people to read about our funds and then perhaps send us an email or give us a phone call (so that we can explain in more detail how our investment strategies work). Since they are making an investment decision, these potential investors will want to do ‘due diligence’ or through research on us. Who are we, what are we about, what kind of performance have we achieved in the past etc before then contact one of our people for more detailed research. As such, they need to find out all about us from the website. Our website would be a kind of ‘online business card’ or ‘online brochure’ that conveys we are professionals with integrity that can be trusted to manage money. That’s why we need a ‘classy’, ‘professional’ website that conveys integrity and trust. If you look at the www.citadelgroup.com website you’ll notice how understated and clean it looks. These are conservative people that manage other people’s money. They don’t have anything loud or distracting but try to convey the image that they are trustworthy people who are not going anywhere. That being said, we’d like to have some nice design that differentiates us from the pack. I guess like all things in life, we’re looking for the balance. The website http://aurora.sitetest.us is what we have come up with at the moment however we think that this can be improved upon. This website has the rough site structure that we need. The links and fund names at the top are all the correct names that we need to use.

The audience is primarily going to be middle aged males over 40 years old. The site needs to communicate integrity and professionalism. Think of how a law firm communicates that it is an 'esteemed' institution that can be trusted. Look at how www.odey.com.au does this with it's imagery. Our front door says "Strength through investment cycles." Our fund is not going to be a mass market site that we run a massive google ad words campaign on - it will more likely have a few hundred visitors per month and some of these might be from people receiving our business card.
