How Danny Noonan started their web page design journey
Client is a horse racing journalist based in Melbourne Australia. He writes for a popular daily newspaper and appears on radio on the horse racing station. He is known as an expert tipster of horse racing winners.
His name is Mick Sharkie but also goes by the nickname Shark!
Given this nickname we have registered the domain name theshark.com.au
The website aims at generating ongoing income from subscribers paying for the shark's tips. The Shark will also provide daily news items and there will be a chat forum on the site.
We have already had the logo designed as well as the main navigational buttons so all you have to do is design the home page!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Target audience are horse racing enthusiasts who are gamblers and who want to access good quality tips and information.
I have provided a site map (see attached word doc). Basically we want all that detail on page but please feel free to play around with the layout.
We really like big easy navigational buttons - see chimpmail.com
It's to be developed in wordpress
We have provided you with a logo - please don't tamper with this.
We have also provided navigational buttons designs - you must also use these. Note there are 3 types of buttons for each button.
There is a grey colour version, grey / colour version and a full colour version. Buttons to go to full colour only when on that page or when cursor is over the icon button. You can decide what looks best when stagnant. That is the grey version or the grey / colour version.
For corporate bookie banners are attached to throw into design..
Number of pages
As in attached and above
Nope not relevant
http://www.puntersparadise.com.au is one of the most popular horse racing tipping sites in Australia. Not to say we really like the site design and lay out just to say this is the competition we are up against
