http://beta.touchpanelcontrol.com/ (user: tpcmagento pass: mag3nt0)
We would like to keep within the same page width as the current site to make the integration with the Magento eCommerce platform easier, but the rest of the design is fairly open to your interpretation.
We need to cater for the various audiences (see target audience).
The only thing that is fixed from the current website is the logo (attached the original copies of this) and the pages that will be in the (new in the beta site) navigation:
TPCONTROL - AMX MODULES - DOWNLOADS - MY ACCOUNT - MY CART - CHECKOUT - HELP DESK
As well as the other navigation items that are currently in the footer - we don't mind if you move them!
It's be nice to keep our news on the homepage, perhaps with less priority.
Please look to the example sites for some inspiration/
This page lists the 2 TPControl products we have for sale already with more coming (Android, Windows Mobile 7, Blackberry, etc).
Please add in the other products and just mark them as coming soon.
This products page will form the basis of the AMX Modules page http://beta.touchpanelcontrol.com/modules.html which currently looks very similar so we'd like you to consider a simple way of differentiating the two types of product pages without having to do a big re-design, we need to show it's a different type of product.
Happy to consider alternative style of software boxes or perhaps no software boxes at all on these pages.
Product details page
http://touchpanelcontrol.com/produc…-ipad.html (currently on the live site - not beta so it has incorrect navigation - take the navigation text from the home page)
Again we'd like to re-do this page keeping it in theme with the other 2 pages. The content is all on the page above and obvisouly there is additional content that we've put behind the buttons: Overview / Technical / Video / Gallery.
Perhaps you can think of a nicer way of doing this?
Again, open to an alternative idea to the software box or perhaps just a much nicer software box.
Although we like having the footer navigation in text for Google it really doesn't look great.
