MEMBERS: Most members go to our site now to find other members (through the “find a member” service from espeakers), secondly they visit to access archived webinars, see events, etc.
Goal of new site: attract the members to visit more often and get more value from CAPS (like: access to good resources, buy a product, learn about the industry, connect online with other members, etc.).
BUYERS: These are individuals at mid to large firms, not for profits or associations looking to hire a trainer or speaker for an event. They could also be event planners working for a client who are looking for talent for an event . Either way, the buyers’ main interest is to get access to talent and to quickly access the options and contact the speakers.
Goal of the new site: Promote hiring a CAPS professional member. Post jobs and bookmark this site for future reference. The buyer pages will be much fewer than the member section and will be accessed from the home page of the main page.
This needs to pick up design elements from the Member Home Page (also modern, clean look) and convey an up-to-date look (come here to get current information). There should be a large grabber image of a speaker in action). This is not a content heavy page, the main attraction is to search for speakers (either through “Where we are” or the directory)
