Friends of Renaissance
Renaissance Retirement Living is a premier provider of independent living villas for over 55's. Friends of Renaissance is the network we are launching to connect with people who are looking for information on retiring but are not yet ready to make the move.
Check out http://www.renaissancerl.com.au for our existing site, that is also in need of updating. For recent updates check out http://www.twitter.com/renaissancerl
Email me at nspencer@rrl.net.au if you need further information.
Over 55's, This will essentially be the online link between the business community, residents, potential residents and seniors in general thinking about retirement.
Essentially what we want to do is to create a place where people can come and connect with unbiased information, there will be a link back to our ‘selling website’ but that’s about it. There will be no selling or units on offer as such. We hope to create a site that is dynamic enough for people to check regularly and sign on to stay involved even if they are not interested in buying a retirement villa.
The content will be updated very often, almost weekly. We will be exploring the possibility of partnering with business who already produce content for the over 55 market. Offering a broad range of content options from editorials, features, in-house produced videos and even a section members can log in and contribute or post items of interest.
• Home – a snapshot of articles/sections highlighting ‘what’s going on’ and feature pages (similar to a news page I guess but big and clear and neat)
• Features – Maybe 5 feature pages each focusing on a different interest to seniors with video/photo gallery options on each page. I am liaising with some businesses so I can pinch their code and copy and paste into on a monthly basis to updated the pages.
o Health
o Finance
o Community
o Recreation
o Technology
• Coming Events
o Calendar of events laid out in monthly view on each page with annually ‘mini map’ down the side.
• Steam Room ‘let some steam off’ – Forum about issues/policies effecting retirees
• Get Connected
o Sign on page
o Contacts etc
It will also act as a database builder. So people need to sign in to gain access to the full articles. Members would also have a profile they can either show or hide and see how many people are online at any one time.
