We need a website design for an automotive/industrial parts and fasteners distributor – we are talking nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc – so we’re not looking for a ‘car’ theme by any means. We want a clean, professional, web 2.0 design for the main page of their online store.
What's your vision?
A client of ours needs a completely updated design for their outdated website. We are looking to convey: professional, reputable, web 2.0 company that you can feel confident doing business with on the web. I’m looking for extreme user-friendliness, cutting-edge, super clean and slick, without being ‘over-the-top’. It should make a person say “wow” when they open the page, while having subtle variations of layers and colors – plastic, gradients, subtle shadowing are all acceptable – no high-gloss or high-contrast. The design will need to incorporate a menu system to accommodate 18 product categories, and an area highlighting a select number of items available for sale on the website. The client also has an Amazon store, so this site should outshine that one in sophistication. See the section below for a complete list of required items for the layout.
