We conduct ENERGY research including evaluation of demand-side management programs (i.e., energy efficiency, demand response, and renewables). Target audience includes electric and gas utilities and public utilities commissions.

GOAL – Update current "look and feel" of the site while capturing that Grounded is now made up of TWO partner organizations. WE LIKE SIMPLE AND WHITE SPACE, AND DON’T WANT THE PAGE TO FEEL REDUNDANT (so need images or ways to present logos that don’t feel redundant). We definitely want more color/images than just our logo and the pictures we are posting. COLORS – prefer greens and blues, our green is RGB 15 115 47. We also like the gray in our logo (RGB of 95, 94,94). See logo for fonts. Our blue also has sky blue with RGB of 70, 179, 229 and we have the two other greens (RGB of 127, 179, 29 and 167,205,35) but don't want too much yellowy green Our tagline: “Partnering to deliver data-driven solutions for a clean and sustainable energy future”
HOME PAGE (HP) STARTING IDEA is to have a header and three sections (described below) Header on HP: similar to emiconsulting.com, this would have tabs at the top for each page. Ours will have: Home, About Us, Services, Contact and Clients Only Section 1 of HP: Some graphic (could relate to our faux tree photo, a better photo that matches our brand, or something cool) and tagline “Partnering to deliver data-driven solutions for a clean and sustainable energy future” Section 2 of HP: This could be the blocky section with one row for "Grounded Research and Consulting" and one for "Grounded Analytics". Logo on one side, and blurb on the other Section 3 of HP: This could have four pictures next to each other –three of which would be people (the three partners/people in Grounded), and one interesting image. Also want a bottom footer for links on the HP SERVICES PAGE: The second page would link to HP and be about our 5 services. This will be one page that could use the overarching wordle-like graphic and have five areas on it. We will have a 1-2 paragraph description for each area and would like some kind of image or design to go with each. The 5 areas for this page are: • Market characterization • Program improvements • Strategic and regulatory consulting • Carbon and energy impacts • Data analytics+ HOME PAGE HEADER AND SECTION 1. www.emiconsulting.com – like the cleanness of the top. Like the tagline over the picture (video). Our tagline is “Partnering to deliver data-driven solutions for a clean and sustainable energy future” SECTION 2 http://sgc.ca.gov/ - BLOCKY SECTIONS Like the blocky presentation of picture and topic SECTION THREE http://sgc.ca.gov/ - FOUR PICS SIDE BY SIDE Like the idea of using four pictures across for logo (of sorts, or other picture) and the three faces of the “partners” (which would then each go to the bio pages)
What to avoid
No coal plants or fossil fuel based energy. No nuclear.
We are currently hosted through Wix and we are planning to continue to use Wix and will need to pull ideas from what you create so we are looking for something simple that can be replicated. Experience with Wix may lead us to hire you to re-create it within Wix.
