Having just decided on a logo it’s time to design the site. I need an un-coded front page to form the basis of the site build. So what am I looking for… Well the design needs to be crisp, sharp and professional with the main sections easily identifiable (details in the brief). I’ve chosen a very simple and clear logo which I would like to flow through to the site.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Your off-road journey starts here Desired Color Scheme: Black, Yellow, Red and White Desired Style: Crisp and Professional Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) Heres the link to the logo – the bottom one http://contests.sitepoint.com/contests/4754/entries/300434 I’m a fan of rounded corners and the 2.0 effect but only when used in moderation and doesn’t detract from usability. Colors – Black, Yellow, Red and white are primary colors. About the site The website will a be resource for four wheel drive enthusiasts to discover new off-road journeys, read reviews on four wheel drives and associated products, learn how to be safer whilst off road and assist with planning their next trip. Here are the main sections of the site Travel Diaries – This section will contain photo and text diaries of other enthusiast’s trips as well as a list of possible weekend and longer trips Product Reviews – Product review of everything from new four wheel drives to upgrade parts, tools etc. Technical Tips – Mechanical how to’s, etc Off-road Driving Tips – Lessons on how to master the art of off road driving Travel Planner – Tips on how to plan an off road journey. I don’t need all the pages designed, just the front door…Good luck!
