Looking for a clean, simple layout that resembles "website" as much as "blog".
MMA on Tap
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: logo colors, whites and grays, contrast between link and text Desired Style: clean, simple, modern Accepted File Formats: Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) This is for MMA on Tap. MMA on Tap is a mixed martial arts website. It's currently a blog, but we're expanding on content and features and it needs to look more like a full website than just a blog. We have a logo. Colors: We don't need all the black and red, but we are looking to keep the dark gray font on white for text reading, and many do like the red color for links. Grays, and anything else that might match the logo is welcome. Layout: Fixed width. We're looking to expand to a fixed with of 990px. We welcome 2 and 3 column layouts. The first 2 columns of a 3 column layout should be 770px max wide. Menu: We like keeping our main options on a horizontal menu. Inspiration: We run hockeyfights.com. We don't mind if it looks similar, as we like it. We'd like more color, but as MMA on Tap has photos with many posts, it takes care of a lot. What we'd like tweaked while you're there: we'd like the byline, date and comments to be under the title, as opposed to the end of the article/posting. The trackbacks link will not be on each post from the index any longer. What we're looking to see: A sample home page. It doesn't have to be 10 posts long, just a few for effect, and then whatever you choose to do with the sidebar column. However - we need a comment design as well. The same information is going to be displayed (plus a possible member icon if the commenter is a member). We'd like to give any comment from a writer a bit of a highlight as well.
