Jason_Botaro got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Tech/Art/Illustration/Comic/Modern, Fun Friendly, Website & Messenger Chatbots in Digital Marketing - Landing Web Page
Check out Jason_Botaro's Web page design contest…
Hi there, I'm in the process of setting up an online, one man agency for digital marketing with chatbots, Australia based. The purpose of this is to help other businesses gain leads and better connect with their current and potential customers through conversational marketing with chatbots on websites and apps like Facebook Messenger (which is fully described in the attached copy). I suppose a difference with my landing web page to others, is that it isn't a full out marketing campaign - in fact I'm not trying to drive bulk traffic to it to attain any clients from any business.. How it works, is I search and hand pick individual business' that are a great fit for what I can offer and help them with, I reach out and approach them prior to them even seeing my landing page - so I'll have already had private/personal contact with them, the landing page/copy is needed more for info and the benefits/facts of using chatbots.. (so again there’s no intention of driving high traffic to my webpage to try gain random clients/businesses ~ so not needing it very sales-y, but of course needing to keep relevant info, without overlapping etc, and a call to action - I still need my potential prospects to take action and book a call..) The main reasons in keeping it fact and info based (without a full sales pitch and specifics on how I can assist their business) is I’m trying to get that person/potential client I’ve already reached out to, to see the benefits only, and have enough curiosity to then get back in touch with me to find out how I can actually implement and help their specific business ~ to pick the phone up and call to discuss how I can apply the chatbots and campaigns to their business.. If that makes sense.. Probably sounds a different way of doing it ~ but I don’t want my potential clients looking at the landing page and thinking then deciding on their own that a chatbot wouldn’t work for them, while I know it can as it’s the reason I hand picked them ~ so need them to want to call so I can lay it out for them over the phone where they’ll see how it fits and helps their business.. It is a long copy I understand, but again taking the above into account, I'd prefer to have the facts and benefits of chatbots listed out in this one page for my potential clients to learn what they need to have the best understanding of chatbots for business, and encouragement to call.. With this said though, we still need some great design and imagery to delight my prospects:) (Apologies for a longer brief to start out with, too! Bit of a different scope to usual though I think).

Looking for something a little unique yet simple.. I would like the style to be tech/Art/Illustration/Comic/modern (UPDATE: more 2D art than 3D style), and fun while being familiar in respect to common images/icons seen with messaging apps/social media (such as FB Messenger), common Apple iPhone speech bubbles etc, "likes/loves" icons.. (My attached copy will give a greater understanding of this).. Keeping it clean and minimalist - also a must is a simple, user friendly feeling to it all.. and of course a nice, easy flow to scroll down through (especially important as it's quite a long copy..!) Colours: Definitely want the FB Messenger colour Blue (as my logo is) to be a main colour. With either Greens, possibly purples, as the other main colour/s (not much more than that, unless of course it works:) Or instead of purple/green, other shades of blue (possibly with Blacks / Whites). UPDATE: I'm thinking more just TWO shades of Blue for the main colour theme. With Green as the other main colour, but want to keep the colouring clean cut and simple, not venturing beyond about two main colours. Some purple is still fine to try, as are other colours within illustrations, but again, keeping it minimal and clean cut/simple.. Illustration: Would like see your take on some modern comic/cartoon styles (plus some images/styles attached for extra ideas), but keeping it mostly 2D..
One long landing page.. These needs are in my attached copy. But mainly Email capture/submit form, with the CTA buttons that jump to this form. Since it is a single page, though a long one, it should have "menu" or "jump to" buttons along the header that take the user to those parts of the page (same like the "yakzi.com" page).
I do have a logo - which I'll attach. But I we don't need to stick to the style of font that accompanies it.. And I don't mind if you play around with the logo design/colours. The logo - botaro bot face - is meant to be two eye's, a nose, and a moustache - I would also be interested with leaning into the style of the logo, and have that themed throughout the page.. if that makes sense.. UPDATE: I'm also not liking the purple that actually borders my logo.. so far I'm preferring a blue logo with white border - though I'm still fine with trying to use two shades of blue and green (possibly some purple) gently throughout the page (whichever colours work best..) The profile photo of myself attached is for the "message from founder" section.. UPDATE: if it's possible to have the brick wall, but coloured blue, or a colour that suits - whatever works:) I have also attached an image of a landing page design that is pretty well near spot on for the style I'd like:) Have also attached a few other images that would be good to have something very similar in design/concept, or added somewhere relevant throughout the landing page.. (especially the two images of "people/device users" zoned into using their devices).. UPDATE: It would be good to see at least one image/illustration with a real iPhone, with some kind of messenger content (similar to the Yakzi.com page..) I'm looking to use website builder/hosting with https://carrd.co/ (they also have a nice clean layout btw), planning to use their Pro Standard pack. But also open to any SquareSpace designers/developers, too. Though these skills aren't essential for the job:)
