IMPORTANT: please consider the destination template for your creations, and not the existing website. I'm looking for design elements I can implement. You can showcase this by designing the homepage OR delivering the elements in a style guide. Up to you. THREE DELIVERABLES 1. Create a strong coherent visual identity or house style for supernøva.com. Show how you apply the logo, colours, accent colours, fonts, sophisticated icons. Good example of a strong visual identity based on a space theme: https://m13.co/. For supernova you can work with a white background (alternatively black) and your choice of blue as the accent color. 2. One of the main challenges is the dynamic header banner in the new WP template (design elements moving to the center). Please provide a design/concept here. Creative ideas and concepts here are a plus! thank you. 3. Create the typical supernova 'space' picture house style. The pics are royalty free, but I need a way to apply them easily to a certain house style for the website, the powerpoint presentations, advertising, etc... For example; it could be the use of a certain filter? Or form...). Example sources: https://images.nasa.gov/, https://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/ WHY DO WE ASK FOR DESIGN? - we are looking for a full revamp of the visual identity/web design for the website www.supernovabelgium.com including the brand "supernøva" or "supernøva.com" - this new visual identity will be developed into the Wordpress theme Brooklyn by us - meaning the design elements & deliverables need to be conform this WP template. - destination template: https://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/demo23/ BRAND - the ø refers to the astrophysical jets coming out of a supermassive black hole (which is created after the supernova/star implosion) - big old stars implode and become a black hole where there's so much gravity even light cannot escape. we see big companies launching lots of uncorrelated digital projects which fail. we need them to implode, focus and come back to the essentials. the result of this focus is gravitational attraction for new markets, skilled people and new clients. latest research show that there's a black hole a the center of most big galaxies, they are the center and the essence of the galaxy. - visual identity needs to show "trust", "reliability" (clean, clear) and inspire visitors to be innovative too. - we are a business consulting firm, not a creative agency. I'm a fan of mainly white background (cfr the Brooklyn theme). But I think there needs to variation too. For example the header banner could be in black/grey background when we apply the current visual. I'm also looking for accent colors, for instance blue. 2) Do you need the design based on galaxy & space theme ? I mean in the whole page there will be galaxy, stars, planet etc in a black theme (It's an idea). Yes, the challenge is to find a visual identity in how we apply galaxy & space. For example https://m13.co/ has succeeded well in creating their own branded style. No, the entire page does not need to be full of space pictures. Balance is key. 3) Do you want to keep the header banner white with some shapes, lines without any images ? Yes. White or Black. I'm looking for the best way to apply the moving elements, I'm looking for inspiration here. I think images are too heavy. Yes, all the written content on http://www.supernovabelgium.com is in scope. 6) And finally, we have to make website in such a way that it feels like "Supernova" website. I mean we need to use the colors, fonts icons in a very creative way? I'm looking for a visual identity for my professional services to top management. The website needs to look classy, clear, trustworthy and reliable. 7) Do you have your favourite color & font that you want to use ?
