WakeScout, http://www.wakescout.com
WakeScout is the watersport community’s online resource to discover and learn about places throughout the world where they can wakeboard, waterski, wakeskate, barefoot waterski, wakesurf, kneeboard, hydrofoil, jump, trick ski, show ski, ski race and wake ski.
Currently, WakeScout has over 1,000 listings from 73 countries throughout the world. The comprehensive WakeScout database provides the watersport community with a complete list of Resorts, Clubs, Schools, Charters, Cable Parks, and Marinas.
WakeScout is a community-driven site, encouraging everyone to contribute new listings so the community can discover and learn about more and more places around the globe to get on the water.
WakeScout also developed the “Connect on the Water” feature. This feature provides a quick and easy way for waterskiers and wakeboarders to find or offer “pulls” (boat rides) anywhere in the world. Users simply enter their search criteria indicating where they would like to get or offer a “pull” and WakeScout instantly provides a list of matching community members they can hook up on the water with.
I have included several files with this project including screen shots of the 5 pages I want redesigned, plus other supporting files.
Do not edit the logo. I have provided logo files in PSD, JPG, and TIF to illustrate the color scheme I would like to maintain.
All text rendered via HTML must use standard browser-independent fonts.

1. Home (A1 ABOVE, A1 BELOW)
The primary goal of this page is to highlight the world map and prompt a user to "Browse Directory". I'd like to see what you can do with the world map, to make it look more modern, yet still show all the different parts of the world.
2. Browse Directory (S0)
This page allows a user to browse by a category or location. I'd like to see what can be done to show the 2 browse options side-by-side.
3. Directory Listings by City (B3)
This page shows the directory listings by city. The results are grouped by city on the left and the icons on the Google Map are displayed on the right. If a user clicks on the icon, it displays the info "bubble". I would like to see the results on the left displayed in as simple way as possible, while still leaving room on the right for the map.
4. Directory Listing Wall (E1)
This page displays all the information for a directory listing, including text, photos, videos, maps, etc. There is a LOT of information to display, so I am looking forward to seeing what can be done to arrange everything in a simple, easy-to-follow way.
5. Connect on the Water listings (F4 ABOVE, F4 BELOW)
This page displays all users who match my search criteria. I am interested to see how you can keep this page simple, yet display all the results line by line.
The logo will stay as is for now.
I need to simplify the user experience and organize the information better - there's way too much going on all at once.
Here's a few example sites from the wakeboard community to help show you the energy and vibe of the boarding community I'm targeting.
