Travel & Hotel
We have launched a travel planning and booking website, we are not a travel agent but have partnered with one so can provide quote requests via our site. We wanted to try and remove the need to go to 10 websites before booking a holiday, - we have maps, and videos on the map, descriptions, - a drag and drop calendar - stitch the videos together to create a movie of their dream holiday based on their choices. - we can also provide quote requests. The holidays can be shared on social media,ie (so they can share ideas for their island wedding with attendees) or, build several movies watch with their families and decide which one is best for them to purchase. we are targeting families and couples travelling to the pacific islands from New Zealand at this stage , we would like to launch from Australia as well to expand the customer base potential. I have built a video which touches on all the functionality of the website https://youtu.be/yeTnHT3IXZs our videos on YouTube (bigball.world) have real people in them taking about the resort or activity they are not just drone shots. we feel that if we explain the website people get it, but if you go in and just use it most people get lost somewhere and don't actually get through everything we can do. please watch the video for full explanation of the website, thanks
we are open to anything, the functionality needs to stay the same as the flow is right but isn't clear ( unless we tell you its a drag and drop calendar you wont know what to do with it) the icons on the map are not clear as to what they actually do the video part is not clear as to what it is for ( watching full length movies of the holiday) we still feel that the website looks home grown, we would like it to feel more professional and make you want to stay in the site and ideally request a quote, share on social media
our website is effectively one page, we are trying to take something really complicated and simplify it, which hasn't been easy we need it to be more idiot proof and self explanatory
I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have, I am open to any ideas you may have. we think we have something potentially cool and useful but it really needs a designer eye to clean it up and help us (polish the turd) ha thanks, enjoy
