Online software to create HTML/CSS drop down menus.
We make money by selling software online. Design should be clean, professional, and portray us as experts in the field of HTML/CSS drop down menus.
HOME PAGE The attached wireframe contains all the elements I would like to see on the hompage. Don’t feel constrained by the layout I chose. Feel free to use your creativity to improve upon what I have posted. I use wireframes to make sure I convey all the required elements for a page, not to constrain designers. I would like to see a clean explanation and call to action above the fold. We make money by selling software online so the first thing visitors should digest is a quick explanation of what we provide and then buttons to get started. Also a large part of are revenue comes from a Dreamweaver extension. Please use the dreamweaver logo/branding where applicable in order to draw attention. Below the fold are thumbnails showing our popular menu designs. Clicking on a thumbnail should take a user to the Menu Detail page. All elements of the site or up for redesign. Logo, colors, and layout. I’m not attached to the design we have so please feel free to take it in a new direction. A lot of effort should be put into the design of our navigation. Since we are a site that is dedicated to CSS Menus we should have a site navigation that is very well designed. The main menu should be able to support 1 level of drop down like we currently have on the site. We also need navigation in the header so user can login, access account, change language, and receive support. CATEGORY PAGE These act as our landing/category pages for our different types of menus. EX. Drop Down, Horizontal, Flyout, Tabbed, and Vertical. Thumbnail previews are an important part of the site so we should be using a consistent design on this page and throughout the site. MENU DETAILS PAGE Again, I just used wireframes to make sure I outlined all the elements that need to be present on this page. Please feel free to move things around as you see fit. The main call to actions on this page should be the Customize, Dreamweaver, and Download buttons. The side bar should be modular and flexible. Right now I just wire framed some blog posts and similar menus but I would like to keep the design open ended so i can add more sidebars in the future.
EDIT: Please don't use existing logo in redesign if it does not fit your design. I am not attached at the logo so take a stab at creating something new that will work with your design. Please take a moment to user our online menu generator so that you can get a good idea of the product we provide. Most of our users are not experts in web design and are just getting started. The software and design should be targeted for the novice web designer. We are also looking to create a long term relationship with the winning designer. There are lots of things we will need design help with in the future and hope that we can come back to the same person for help.
