mas got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Website for new undershirt company
Check out mas's Web page design contest…
RibbedTee undershirts is a new clothing line startup initially focused on creating an innovative new undershirt design that brings together the very best features of a ribbed tank top and the typical undershirt. We're looking to create a professional company website leveraging the new logo design and color scheme.
What's your vision?
Tagline: NA Desired Color Scheme: See project description for exact colors. Desired Style: See project description. Accepted File Formats: Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) We're looking for help to create that one-of-a-kind website! We promise to provide quick, candid, and detailed feedback on all the design submissions. Currently we have a placeholder website at (www.ribbedtee.com). We're looking to create a professional company website, but we're looking for a site that has that clean, "Web 2.0" type of look and one that leverages the innovative design of our new logo ("the cube"). The webpage concept should include two page designs: 1. Home Page 2. Shop Online Versions of our our company logo are available at: http://www.ribbedtee.com/images/ribbedtee-logo1.jpg http://www.ribbedtee.com/images/ribbedtee-logo2.jpg Colors used: light gray: R 194, G 193, B 193 (#C2C1C1) gray: R 131, G 130, B 129 (#838281) dark gray: R 56, G 52, B 49 (#383431) orange: R 231, G 120, B 23 (#E77817) To start, we would only need a relatively flat site structure: Home, About, Contact, Shop Online, and possibly a blog (our site currently uses WordPress as the blog). We need something reasonably easy to manage that uses stylesheets to define all the layout. Initially, the shop online section would be fairly light. We are designing an undershirt that will be initially sold to men, available in sizes S, M, L, XL, 3 colors, and two styles (v-neck and crew neck). We'll expand to women as well over time. We'll likely have pictures of men models wearing our t-shirts in the various colors. We'll leverage some opensource shopping cart/ecommerce software so the website design will have to have some header components (i.e. navigation, branding) that can be easily embedded in a template-based shopping cart that's hosted elsewhere.
