We are changing the business name from Alaska Remote Imaging to ARI. We are keeping the same icon but want to incorporate ARI and Imaging, Survey, Drafting into the logo with the existing blue icon.
The challenge seems to be selecting a font that emphasizes that ARI is an acronym and not pronounced like the human name (ar-eee). We've played around with a few different font selections and are curious about what periods between the A.R.I. letters could do to emphasize that. We gravitate towards slab serif type fonts because the letter I without horizontal bars doesn't seem to read well, but are open to more unique, bold options.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
