Overview
The Ivory Cottage is a group and a space in Boulder Colorado that aspires to bring together great thinkers to challenge the existing notions of capitalism and corporate behavior. Capitalism has been the world's most successful system for creating wealth but it is our belief that the existing system and market dynamics must change/evolve quickly if we all wish to support a better quality of life for every single person on earth.
The name The Ivory Cottage references the ivory tower which in the bible refers to a place of lofty thinking. Over time it became a reference to thinking so lofty as to be impractical. Because it is our hope to be both lofty and practical we selected the name The Ivory Cottage to represent both the high-minded and down-to-earth mission. The Ivory Cottage hopes to be a focal point and a place of distribution for theories, tools and experiments in this Capitalism 3.0.
