The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). It is characterized by minimalism which is found throughout the teachings of Japanese aesthetics. Once an ensō is drawn, it is not changed. It symbolizes the characteristics of its creator as well as the context of its creation in a brief period of time. Much like life, the ensō symbolizes a cycle, or the completion of a cycle. I immediately thought of the ensō when you described \"Circle Urns\" and wanting to represent the idea of \"coming full circle\". Keeping in mind your request for formality, mystery, exclusivity, luxury, purity, balance and sophistication I designed various styles of ensōs for your logo.
